How can I prepare before the delivery?

To ensure a successful delivery, customers must complete the following prior to delivery:

  • Adult Presence Required: An adult (18 years or older) must be present during the delivery window to accept and approve the delivery.
  • Clear Access: All walkways, entryways, hallways, and the designated placement area must be clear and accessible.
  • No Furniture Removal: Our delivery team cannot remove, disassemble, or relocate existing furniture.
  • Accurate Measurements: Customers are solely responsible for verifying that furniture will fit through all access points, including doorways, staircases, elevators, and into the intended room.
  • Access Arrangements: Any special access requirements (gate codes, parking instructions, elevator reservations) must be communicated in advance.

Caravana Furniture is not responsible for delays, rescheduling, or non-delivery due to access restrictions, clearance issues, or inaccurate measurements.

What can I expect during delivery?

On the day of delivery:

  • Delivery Window: Delivery times vary by location and order size and are estimates only. Windows are typically one to three hours but may extend due to routing or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Courtesy Call: Customers will receive a courtesy call approximately 20–30 minutes prior to arrival.
  • Placement: Furniture will be placed in the designated room provided access is safe and unobstructed.
  • Safety Limitations: Delivery may be refused or rescheduled if conditions are deemed unsafe for the delivery team or the customer’s property.

Caravana Furniture reserves the right to reschedule deliveries when access, safety, or site conditions prevent completion.

Can I pick up my furniture myself?

Yes! Customers are welcome to pick up their furniture directly from our warehouse.

Important pickup details:

  • Order Confirmation: You will be notified when your order is ready and whether professional assembly is recommended.
  • Assembly Opt-Out: If you decline Caravana Furniture’s professional assembly, you assume full responsibility for assembly. Improper assembly voids the manufacturer’s warranty.
  • Transport Responsibility: Please bring your own blankets, padding, and tie-down straps. Once items are loaded, Caravana Furniture is not responsible for damage during transport.

Can I reschedule my delivery appointment?

  • Missed Appointments: Deliveries missed without prior notice are subject to a $40 rescheduling fee.
  • Availability: Rescheduled dates are subject to delivery availability.
  • Emergencies: If an unexpected situation arises, please contact us as soon as possible. While fees may still apply, we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
