Warranty & Damaged Merchandise Policy

At Caravana Furniture, we stand behind the products we sell and assist customers with valid manufacturer warranty claims. Warranty coverage is determined by the manufacturer and is subject to specific terms and conditions.

Manufacturer’s Warranty (Furniture & Non-Mattress Items)

Most furniture items include a one (1) year manufacturer’s limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.

Warranty Does Not Cover

The manufacturer’s warranty excludes damage caused by:

  • Improper care, misuse, or negligence
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, or prolonged sunlight
  • Improper or incomplete assembly not performed by Caravana Furniture
  • Normal wear and tear, accidents, or unauthorized repairs

All warranty determinations are made by the manufacturer.

Warranty does not cover: Transportation, handling, or inspection costs

Damaged Merchandise

  • All items must be inspected at the time of delivery or pickup.
  • Visible damage must be noted before acceptance and before the delivery team departs.
  • Damage reported after acceptance may not qualify for repair, replacement, or warranty consideration.
  • Caravana Furniture is not responsible for damage caused after delivery due to handling, transport, assembly, or environmental factors.

Manufacturer’s Mattress Limited Warranty

Mattress products include a manufacturer’s limited warranty for defects in materials or workmanship and apply only to the original purchaser from the original purchase date.

Key Mattress Warranty Terms
  • Residential use only; commercial, rental, or institutional use is not covered.
  • During the applicable no-charge period, Mattress may repair or replace the mattress or foundation at the manufacturers discretion.
  • If the identical model is unavailable, a comparable model of equal or greater quality may be substituted.
  • Beyond the no-charge period, repairs may be available at a prorated cost.
Coverage Applies When
  • Broken or loose wires protrude through the fabric
  • Body impressions exceed 1.5 inches, measured without bedding and with proper foundation and frame support
Warranty Does Not Cover
  • Comfort preference, firmness, height, or sheet fit
  • Stains, tears, burns, soiling, or liquid damage
  • Sagging or impressions under 1.5 inches
  • Damage caused by improper foundations, frames, or misuse
  • Transportation, handling, or inspection costs
Warranty Requirements
  • Proper foundation and frame with center support (required for queen and king sizes)
  • Proof of purchase and intact Law Label
  • Customer is responsible for transporting the mattress or foundation for service

Mattress manufacturer may deny warranty service for unsanitary conditions, abuse, or misuse.
